Comprehensive Exam & Records

What is comprehensive dentistry? Dr. Zimmermann believes that a thorough examination and detailed dental records are the first step toward creating a path that leads to optimal, lifelong dental health. At your initial visit, after your interview, he’ll examine your teeth, gums, jaw alignment, occlusion (how top and bottom teeth fit together). He’ll also screen for oral cancer and gum disease. Digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and other forms of technologically advanced imaging will provide a complete picture of your entire oral system, inside and out.

Easy Decisions

After learning about your expectations, studying your oral health and records, and diagnosing specific concerns, Dr. Zimmermann will provide you with all the information you’ll need to make informed decisions about dental care. He may use videos, models, and/or digital images to help you understand your situation and potential solutions. Then, considering your health, goals, finances, and schedule, you and the dentist will determine a treatment plan that’s well suited to your life.
